New view options
You can now switch between two different views of the represented elements. Sometimes it can be handy to start your selection with the categories. So we added to the standard view "Level - Category - Type a second one: "Category - Level - Type" as you can see in the following sceenshot.
Another new feature of our FilterTool is that you can now choose from vatious different element datasources, like the active view, the entire model or - of course - your actual selection. If you start the FilterTool without having anything selected you'll see all elements residing the actual views
Selection Filter Improvements
We also added to the "Edit Selection Filter" dialog a little checkbox where you can include all elements of the entire model to your previous filter selection.
Minor Improvements
- Shortcut: During the installtion of FilterTool we added a keyboard shortcut. So in order to quickly access the FilterTool just type "FT"
- Filters in projects: Predefined filter will be saved directly in the project file.
- Speed: Improved startup speed
- New License Management: Only one file to download which runs 30 days without a valid license file
- Installation: Standard Microsoft Installer file (FilterToolSetup.msi) so you can easily install and remove the software
So just see yourself. You can download a free, fully functional 30 day trial version of our FilterTool and you'll soon discover that you won't want to live without our FilterTool anymore ;)
